What Motivates Me
I find what motivates me most is learning and discovering new things. There is so much to learn in this ever-changing brokerage industry, and with all the exciting new products and services being offered, it keeps me focused, driven, and on my toes. Customer satisfaction and feedback is also a great motivator. As an educator, being able to connect with traders and impart my knowledge of the market and technology is very rewarding.
What I Like to Trade
Being primarily an educator for TradeStation, I have learned how to test trading ideas for a variety of asset classes using many different approaches. Trading stocks, options, futures, and forex have all been integrated into the many subjects and concepts of my classes. For a short period of time, I traded e-mini futures using an automated trading strategy, which was definitely an eye-opening experience and helped deepen my understanding of trading and market behavior.
Outside of Trading
I’m a photographer aficionado. I enjoy reading and learning about new photography techniques and camera equipment. Although I have tried different types of photography, my best photographs have been landscapes. I am always looking forward to where my travels will take me next and the amazing scenery I’ll get to photograph.
