Morning Market Briefing – Closing Out The Year

December 28, 2020

Have you seen our live shows? Join us for “The Trend” each market morning at 9:00AM EST, and “Beyond the Bell” at the close. See what’s trending in the markets and find out what our traders are watching each day! Check them out on the “Insights” tab.

As we wind down the year, morning futures point to a small green open. As expected, volume tailed off last week and we can likely expect more of the same this week. Most short term swing traders will be scouting out quick plays Monday and early Tuesday, and closing Wednesday into Thursday as the short week progresses. It’s a great time to begin scouting out the plays you’ll be watching for as we move into 2021, and review your trading journal from the previous few months. It’s also a good time to review your master watch list and clean it up a bit.

From the entire team here at YouCanTrade, we hope you and you family have a Happy New Year!

370 over area to watch as the new week begins. 365 short term downside support.

Looks to open at or near all-time highs. How it holds the opening hour will be key.
