Morning Market Briefing – Happy Festivus

December 23, 2020

Have you seen our live shows? Join us for “The Trend” each market morning at 9:00AM EST, and “Beyond the Bell” at the close. See what’s trending in the markets and find out what our traders are watching each day! Check them out on the “Insights” tab.

For those of us who grew up on “Seinfeld”, today is the annual ‘airing of grievances’ that was so deftly portrayed by Jerry Stiller in the 90s sitcom. While I’m sure we all have plenty of grievances with 2020, we focus here on the last day and a half of the trading week.

Lighter volume yesterday likely trails off to even lighter today without news. Early futures are slightly green. Going into next week is when we begin to scout trades for the new year, focusing on longer term support and resistance.

From the entire team here at YouCanTrade, we hope you and you family have a wonderful Holiday Season and a Happy New Year!

Not much here until a break of either 365 or 370.

Showing a little more strength. Could see a low volume drift up to new all time highs.
