Morning Market Briefing – Dip? What dip?

July 21, 2021

Good Morning! Markets responded to the financial media’s hand wringing on Monday’s move down by regaining nearly every bit of it back on Tuesday. Futures and equities showed nearly unrelenting buying from the opening hour to the final bell. Early action points toward a flat open today, and we’ll see about a break of yesterday’s high to continue our move back to all-time highs.

Trendline on deck for the SPY.

Push above 8 EMA next level to watch in the QQQ.

Watch List

Symbol Why We’re Watching
AAL Potential breakout above 8 EMA.
NVDA Recent split, red on a green day yesterday.
LYFT Possible quick move to $55 on break of $53.
ROKU Hold of 8 EMA and break of $420 could signal push to highs.
INTC Long term watch, caught in $54-$58 range.
